Ice cream isn’t the favourite delicacy of people prone to counting the calories yet as luck would have it we live in an era of healthy trends, so it’s not difficult to find out recipes or create some of your own that contain no other ingredient than fresh fruits.
Same way as you make smoothies, add in all the ingredients you like, be it oranges, berries, banana or strawberries for example, throw in some secret healthy ingredients like chia seeds and coconut water, blend it all, put the mix in cups, freeze them for two hours, place the popsicle stick in the cups and freeze again for another couple of hours. Fans of classy combinations like chocolate and peanut butter certainly wouldn’t be able to resist creating their own chocolate peanut butter popsicles. To make the peanut butter creamy you can add some milk, and if you want to stay on the healthy side at the same time, choose dark chocolate.
Once your peanut butter milk mix is frozen in the popsicle moulds pour over some melted dark chocolate to cover each of them and freeze again. Don’t be surprised if it takes you just as fast to eat them as it takes you to prepare them!
